My next post for
The Fabric Guys is now live so go ahead and follow
this link to read all about this puffy sleeved organza number!
Voluminous organza tops have been all the rage recently, so when I came across Fabric Guys'
spot organza, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to make my own. Full disclosure, as with all my other Fabric Guys blog posts, this fabric was provided to me for free in exchange for the post.
This top ended up as something quite different from my normal style, but it's a lot of fun to wear and it's always good to mix it up every once in a while. Organza (and other sheer, fray-prone fabrics) can be a bit of a faff to work with but I personally quite like that - it makes it feel oh so much sweeter when you manage to finish off something (successfully). I've written a few little tips in the post about how to handle organza, which will hopefully make the fabric seem that bit less intimidating!
And I think that's about all I've got to say on the matter! Head on over to the
blog post or
The Fabric Guys' Instagram and give them some love, and don't forget to check out their store, as they've got some really beautiful fabrics there!
